ALBERT BROERSMA

Albert
left in 1938 as soldier of the Royal Dutch Indies Army to the Dutch Indies.
He was held prisoner of war by the Japanese after the Dutch Indies
was captured by the Japanese.
Albert
and his brother, Berend Hendrik, were brought from Thailand to Japan.
He
was aboard either the Hell Ship Miyo Maru or Teia Maru
both of which arrived in
Japan the 18-19th of June 1944.
Albert survived the war but soon after an Indies extremist killed him.
Albert died at 27-04-1946 in Pare Pare (Dutch Indies).
