These American prisoners of war were held at Pasay School
while forced into labor adding a runway to Nichols Field. 
 Top row, 2nd from left, is Joe Johnson, author of the book "Baby of Bataan".
Next to him, 3rd in from left is Charles Balaza.
Circled is Corporal John Perkowsk.   
Both were later interned at Camp 17.
